There are many records in football unlikely to be broken , I have just compiled the following below:
1. Most Goals Scored by A Goalkeeper: Rogerio Ceni ,the Brazilian goalkeeper scored 128 goals as a goalkeeper in a career that span for 22 years (from 1990 - 2015). The other goalkeeper that followed from a far off was José Luis Chilavert from Paraguay, who scored 67 goals in 32 years career as a goalkeeper.
Ceni has held this record since 2015 and that's a record I think no player will be able to achieve unless stage managed.
2. Most Ballon d'Or Award Winner: Lionel Messi is the only player to have won Ballon d'Or award, as world's best performing player, eight times and it took him 14 years of his career (2009 - 2023) to achieve that. He is also the record holder for most consecutive wins, with four between 2009 and 2012.
The next person to comes close is Cristiano Ronaldo with five Ballon d'Or and it took nine years of his career (from 2008 - 2017).
I don't think any other player can beat this record in the next 20 years or so.
3. Most Goals Scored in One Football Season: Lionel Messi scored a total of 91 goals in 2011 -2012 season for Barcelona and National team, Argentina. Messi scored 79 goals for club side and 12 goals for his country.
It took forty years before Messi could broke Gerd Muller (85 goals in one season 1972) and I don't envisage any player to broke the record in the next twenty years or so.
4. Most Goals Scored for A Single Club: Lionel Messi scored an astounding 672 goals for Barcelona, surpassing Pele's record for most goals (643) for a single club. The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner, who is also the all-time La Liga top scorer, is one of two players to score 100 Champions League goals for one club. Cristiano Ronaldo scoring record at Real Madrid, 450 goals in 430 matches only ranked 10th.
I don't know if Haaland or Kylian Mbappe can achieve this feat, not in the next 10 or 15 years, if they remain in Man city and PSG respectively.
5. Most international Goals Scored: Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal, with 128 goals in 205 matches and counting, has scored the most goals in international football in the men's game.
Players that are trailing are Ali Daei (109 goals) for Iran and Lionel Messi (106 goals) for Argentina. Although, it is more possible to broke this record, but Ronaldo keep extending the numbers for an impossible catch up.
So I think these are some of the major records that are going to be difficult to be broken
